Hiya, Heather!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question - I'm all ears and here to help! It sounds like you're working on planning a magical trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. No matter the season or reason for your visit, I'm sure your party is going to have a magical and memorable time!
My family just returned home from our first stay at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and we were absolutely blown away. In fact, my son has been asking to return ever since we've gotten home. The bright colors, gigantic character icons, and fantastic recreational offerings are sure to please every Mouseketeer in your group - especially the little ones! Heather, did you know that Disney's Art of Animation Resort boasts the largest Resort hotel pool in all of Walt Disney World Resort!?
The Big Blue Pool is a sprawling
Finding Nemo-inspired zero-entry swimming pool that includes The Schoolyard Sprayground, an incredible splash pad for the littlest adventurers in your club. Disney's Art of Animation Resort also features the Cozy Cone Pool in the Cars section of the resort and the Flippin' Fins Pool in The Little Mermaid area. The maximum depth of each of the swimming pools is 4 ft. 11 in. (or 1.49 m). My son had a blast splashing in each of the three swimming pools at the Resort hotel! I can confirm that child life jackets are readily available on the pool decks at all swimming pools at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and that during my visit, the life jacket selection was plentiful.
Heather, I hope you enjoy every magical moment of your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Be sure to make use of the
Disney Skyliner during your visit, if not to access the theme parks, then at least to enjoy the ambiance and view! My family decided it was our new favorite mode of
Resort Transportation. If you happen to have any additional planning questions, feel free to pop back over to planDisney anytime!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
