Hi Sarah!
Welcome back to planDisney!
Liberty Tree Tavern is one of our must-do dining experiences during the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort! I doublechecked with a panelist who was in the parks today to verify. If you have checked the price online through the Walt Disney World website, the current price does
not include tax or gratuities. To check the official prices, take a look at the
lunch menu and the
dinner menu. We typically budget at least 18% for gratuities and, if you have a party of six or more, remember that an 18% gratuity will be automatically added to your bill.
For my family, I would definitely say that a meal here is worth the expense. The colonial decor and the family style meal provide the perfect atmosphere. We always find ourselves laughing here after a day full of adventure at Magic Kingdom. Given that
advanced dining reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern during Thanksgiving can be hard to get, if you have a reservation, keep it until you make a final decision. Just be sure to cancel before any cancellation charges apply!
Since we are always on a budget, if we are doing a more expensive dinner, we will only do two meals that day, brunch and dinner. And I always bring snacks that we can eat if we get hungry prior to brunch or dinner. If you do decide that you need another dining option, also consider the restaurants at Disney Springs. My family loves Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and the
dinner prices are a little more affordable.
Sarah, I am so excited for your upcoming trip! Have you packed? Do you have your masks? Be sure to review the
operational updates prior to your visit since theme park and dining experiences could change. Sending a little extra pixie dust trusting that you will have lots to be thankful for during your visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
