Hi Troy,
Welcome to planDisney!
Wow! How exciting to have that letter! It is definitely time for you to speak with someone. There are several numbers you could use to
contact a Cast Member to speak by phone. I suggest that you speak with someone in Hotel Reservations. Just double-check to make sure the letter confirms a
Disneyland Resort Hotel. If it does not, you would need to speak with the resort hotel staff of the property mentioned in the letter. One additional point to note is that, at this time, only California Residents may visit the parks.
If your planned visit is in the distant future and you qualify to purchase park tickets, I advise you
to purchase them prior to your visit. As you consider your plans, I also suggest that you check the
theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure there is park reservation availability on the dates you plan to visit. Once you have checked park availability, purchase those tickets.
I also suggest making
advanced dining reservations. These are a must-do. Don't forget to also keep an eye on the
Downtown Disney District updates to make sure you know what will be open there at the time of your visit. And be sure to check the
Dining: Know Before You Go information to keep up with policies and procedures related to dining. Know also that you can use
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability to try to add your party to a walk-up list if you are unable to secure advanced dining reservations.
Troy, this is such an exciting time. Keep track of those plans carefully. I always create a chart to track everything, including flight information. And, as it gets closer to your visit, start packing. Even if you will not need those autograph books just yet, this
packing list might be helpful. I hope you are smiling as much as I am. You are about to visit the Happiest Place on Earth!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
