Can you let me know what the weather is at Disneyland in June? We are going to be there from the 4th to the 13th and need to know how to pack!

Hi Allison! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

You're probably familiar with how quickly the weather can change, so my best advice would be to check your mobile device's weather app for Disneyland Resort in the days leading up to your visit. However, I can advise you on what you can possibly expect!

The average high in June is about 80 degrees and the average low is 60. With June Gloom, it can be cloudy in the mornings, while afternoons tend to be sunny. With those cloudy mornings and slightly cooler evenings, I'd pack layers. A lightweight jacket or hoodie you can stuff in your park bag or tie around your waist once the California sun is shining is a good idea. Otherwise, pack for warmer weather--shorts, short-sleeves, light colors, fabric that breathes--and bring your sunscreen and refillable water bottles. It's pool weather, so I'd pack my swimsuit too.

It won't be as humid as you're accustomed to and rain is much less likely, but if you want to be extra prepared, pack a disposable rain poncho. These are also a great choice for attractions like Grizzly River Run in Grizzly Peak at Disney California Adventure Park, where you're likely to get soaked. With that in mind, I'd also suggest comfortable shoes that dry quickly or a change of socks. There's nothing worse than wet socks!

I hope you have a magical visit.
