Hi Michelle! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm originally from Toronto so I know how important it is to save on that ever-changing exchange rate.
When my cousin visited Walt Disney World Resort last summer they bought their tickets from the Disney store at Yorkdale Mall, but I'm told tickets are no longer available at the Disney Stores in Canada. No worries though, you can still find Walt Disney World Resort Park Hopper passes at some CAA (Canadian Automobile Association) offices and many travel agents will also have them. The price is quoted in US dollars so it will fluctuate slightly with the current exchange rate. The overall savings with the CAA discount is about $9 per ticket (keep in mind the exchange rate will change this number slightly). Purchasing tickets through CAA does offer exclusive member perks so call your local office to find out the benefits.
Canadians can also redeem Aeroplan Miles for select Walt Disney World Resort tickets. See the Aeroplan site <www.aeroplan.com> for complete details.
Of course Disney offers great discounts too. Check out the
special offers page for the latest offering. Right now, guests can save up to 30% on rooms at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, for stays from March 14 to April 12 and April 20 to June 15, 2014. You'll also see a free day ticket offer when you upgrade to a Magic Your Way package with minimum 4-day theme park tickets!
I hope I've helped answer your question. Work the numbers with each option and choose the one that is the most cost effective and best for your family.
