What is the length, width and thickness of the mattress on the fold out bed at Port Orleans Resort? Is it possible for the Resort to cover the picture of the animal as my child is fearful of that type of thing at bedtime.

    Hello Deborah,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The murphy beds at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside are a little smaller than a twin bed (approximately 63" x 30"). The mattress is not as thick as a standard mattress, it's more like what you find in a pull-out sofa bed.  As for the picture of Louis the Alligator, I am not sure how the resort can accommodate covering the picture as it is rather large. You may wish to bring something from home, (such as a poster of your child's favorite Disney Characters) to cover the picture or you can try blocking it with pillows or a bed sheet.

    Hope this helps!

If I can assist you with any other planning question, please feel free to send them my way!

    Happy Planning!
