Welcome to planDisney, Pamela! I'm so happy to see that you will be visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth this summer, and I'm glad to answer your question!
I'm the mom of six and a huge fan of strollers! I get that kids love their independence once they learn how to use those legs, but it's not unusual to log thousands of miles each day at Walt Disney World Resort, and that's just too much on little feet. Plus, it's possible to encounter some pretty big crowds at times, so having a safe place for your little one is a smart choice.
When you
rent a stroller at a Walt Disney World, you have the option to purchase a "length of stay" rental, which offers a discount on the daily rate. This can be for however many consecutive days you want to use a stroller. It is not linked to your resort hotel reservation or your tickets. For example, if you are staying 14 nights and have 14-day tickets, you can buy a 10-day length-of-stay stroller rental, if that works for your family. Those days must be consecutive, though. You just show your receipt to the Cast Member at the stroller rental counter. It is valid at all four theme parks and
Disney Springs. You do this when park hopping, as well.
While I think it's always a good time for a Walt Disney World vacation, you've picked a particularly great season to visit. So many new things are coming to the theme parks
this summer, and several attractions have been updated or refreshed and will be open for your trip!
Cool KIDS' SUMMER is taking over Walt Disney World, and one of the most exciting parts is Bluey's Wild World at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! I think I am just as excited as my grandson to meet Bluey and Bingo!
Disney Parks Blog has a great post about all the fun experiences you can expect, including the highly anticipated
Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets in
Disney's Hollywood Studios! I am so excited to see
The Electric Mayhem and the several guest stars!
I hope this was helpful, Pamela, and that you have the most magical vacation yet! Please come back and see us here at
planDisney if you have any more questions. It's our joy to help other guests plan their next Walt Disney World visit.
Always Dreaming -
