Hello Kyla and welcome aboard to planDisney! Now imagine you’re leaving Disney’s Hollywood Studios waving goodbye to your adoring fans below and on your way to your room at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Can you picture it? I sure hope so because we’re getting you ready for this trip, so let’s get the details on bringing a stroller onboard the
Disney Skyliner!
As a father of two toddler princesses, I’m happy to provide my personal experience with double strollers and the Skyliner. You’re smart to have a tandem stroller, as most side-by-side double strollers need to be folded up since they exceed the 30” maximum width that the Skyliner permits. As for the length, a Cast Member I spoke to said that it’s not really a concern so long as it doesn’t exceed the boarding area dimensions for strollers and ECVs (30” x 48”) or the
Property Rules for strollers. If it’s helpful for reference, our family has an UPPAbaby Vista tandem stroller and we have not had any issues rolling it right into the Skyliner, even when we lean the seats back (which we often do since our daughters usually nap when we’re on the Skyliner).
Here’s a bonus tip! If you’re using the Skyliner to hop from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT and if your kids just happen to be napping on that ride, do yourself a favor and take a break to visit
Disney’s Riviera Resort. It’s one of my favorite Resorts on property! Just steps off the Skyliner stop you’ll be treated to some beautiful mosaic artwork inspired by Tangled and Peter Pan. Further up ahead just off the lobby you’ll find
Le Petit Café, which serves up a delicious almond cold brew and the delicious Riviera banana bread!
Kyla, I hope you’re flying high with this information and hoping you and your little ones have a fun and safe trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any further questions about your upcoming trip, feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
