I am a legacy passholder, do I need to purchase a separate ticket to enter the park

    Hey Shana!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Being an Annual Passholder was one of the best things my family did. We loved the value that it brought and all of the extra perks that came with it like discounts on merchandise and dining. If you haven’t heard already, Disneyland Resort Officials are working on a new membership for those looking for something that resembles the Annual Passholder program and that will be announced later this year. You’ll want to make sure you’re following along with the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest information.

As you already know, those who held active annual passports as of March 14, 2020 became Legacy Passholders. You receive your previous discount on food and merchandise through at least 7/31/21 along with other fun stuff like magnets, virtual backgrounds and more. If you’d like to visit Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you’re going to need to purchase a theme park ticket and then make a theme park reservation.

Well Shana, I hope this information is useful and you get to the parks soon!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
