    I had leg surgery and am wanting to do the least amount of walking. Which hotel has the shortest car parking to hotel room distance?

    Hi, Audrey! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I am so sorry that you are visiting during a recovery, but I hope it is going well! Each Walt Disney World Resort hotel has rooms close to parking, and may I suggest contacting Disney Reservations in order to add a note to your file that you would like to request one of these rooms. I also suggest faxing your Disney Resort hotel directly approximately 4 days before your arrival with your special request. Keep in mind that these are requests and not guarantees, but Cast Members are mainly accommodating in my experience. If you want to park RIGHT at your door, then perhaps The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is the best option, but keep in mind there are a few steps to climb to get to your cabin. Otherwise, I suggest checking out the Online Map and looking at Disney Resort hotels and make requests of buildings based on this.  

    Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities is a wealth of information for Guests like yourself who may require a Wheelchair or Electric Conveyance Vehicle rental or information about how to use them within Walt Disney World Resort.
