Hi Karen!
I am just the Mom to answer your question. I was an expert hair wrapper back in my college days!
Hair wraps can last in your daughter’s hair from 2 weeks to over a month. After that, it starts to look kind of dingy and the hair starts growing out at the top. It’s super easy to take them out. Start at the bottom and snip of the beading part off. There is a knot at every color change. You want to slice the knot strings with scissors without cutting the hair and then unravel the string. Keep doing this until you get to the top and voila!
She can shower and swim just like normal. The more water time the wrap has, the softer it will get and will be more comfortable to sleep with.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
