Hiya, Pam! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Let's hop in!
Fortunately, it's very easy to check if you still have valid days left on your
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets, and you don't need your MagicBands at all! What you need to do is open the
My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen, and select the box that says "Tickets & Passes". If your tickets are still valid, they should appear here, and you'll be able to see exactly how many days you have left on each one of them.
Pam, if you can't see your tickets in this section of the app, it unfortunately means that they have expired and you will not be able to get them back. However,
I would still speak to a friendly Cast Member over at the "My Past Walt Disney World Visit" hotline just to see if there's anything their magical team can do for you.
If you decide to purchase new Theme Park tickets, you'll be able to link them to your Disney account during the transaction process, after which they'll be automatically linked to your old MagicBands as well. You don't need to do anything else in order to load them! However, please keep in mind that MagicBand batteries usually last between two and three years, so I suggest having a backup plan. You can always purchase new bands for your vacation or ask for Key to the World cards at any ticketing center or
Guest Relations location, free of charge!
I hope my answer has helped clarify things for you, Pam. If you have any other questions, please
don't hesitate to reach back out to me or one of my magical friends so we may assist you further. Have a magical day!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
