Ahoy there, Suzanne and welcome to planDisney - and back ashore!
I hope you and your crew had an incredible time on your recent
Disney Cruise Line vacation on the
Disney Fantasy - I'm sure it was magical! I bet you can still see the lights of
La Piazza and
The Tube, and almost taste those Black Truffle Pasta Purseittes from
Animator's Palate and the Sea Bass with Risotto from
Enchanted Garden!
One of the best ways to fend-off the sadness that can come with debarkation day is booking a placeholder, and I'm glad you took the opportunity to do so! There's nothing better than knowing you'll be able to say "See Ya Real Soon" to the
fleet! Did you take advantage of the ability to book your placeholder through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app? What a nifty upgrade, right?
If you're seeing the charge on your credit card, but have no other confirmation, my first piece of advice would be to check your email on the date you placed the reservation. Sometimes, when we've booked placeholders on the first day of our cruise, we forget which day it was and have to dive through our emails! Another good way to do this is to search for the term "Onboard Booking" in your email provider's search bar!
Should your treasure elude you even after those tips, I'd suggest
placing a call to a crew member - in my experience in situations like this, they're always equipped to guide you safely into port through the rough waters you're currently experiencing! But even before that, be sure to keep a weather eye out for which of the
available itineraries you'll eventually embark on!
I sure can't wait for you to be welcomed back aboard the Disney Cruise Line fleet, Suzanne! If you come up with any other questions as you begin planning for your next vacation, please drop me a line here at planDisney! Thank you for your question, and we'll see you real soon!
Until then, may your anchor be tight, and your compass true!
