We're leaving in 2 weeks to WDW with our 15 month old son- his first trip. My question is if the characters will autograph a tote bag or Tshirt? I'm afraid he might rip a paper autograph book and a fabric bag or shirt might last longer. Thanks!

    Hi Susan,

You must be so excited to take your son on his first Disney vacation!  Characters will autograph just about anything as long as you're not wearing it.  Bringing a tote bag or a t-shirt into the park to have signed is a great idea!  Make sure to bring a pen that writes easily on fabric - a Sharpie works well.

Another cute idea that I have seen is to purchase a poster with all of the characters.  You can find these in different locations throughout the parks.  Characters will often take the time to sign next to their picture, and you can have it framed when you return home.  This is great if you plan on doing a few different character meals - carrying a poster around in the parks all day could be kind of a pain.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
