Leaving for wdw IN 9 DAYS staying at POR w husband and 3 kids 13,8,5. which building should I request for closeness to transportation and or check in? thanx

Hi, Steph!   With a party of 5, you will be assigned a room in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.   These are the only rooms with the trundle bed, thus allowing the 5th guest.   This is my favorite section of Port Orleans Riverside.

Of the buildings in this area, #14 and #18 would be your best bet.   These are the closest buildings to the main area which houses the lobby and food court.  Building #18 is also close to a small pool perfect for a quick swim!  There are 4 bus stops around Port Orleans Riverside, so no matter where you room is located, the nearest bus stop will be less than a 5 minute walk.

Requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed.   Wishing you and your family a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
