We are leaving for our trip in 17 days and I was planning on shipping a box to our resort of extras that we do not want to take on the plane. Where do I pick up my package once I arrive? How early before my arrival can I ship it?

    Hi, Ashley!

It's almost time for your vacation! You must be so excited!

I think that shipping a box to your Resort hotel ahead of time is such a great way to save room in your luggage and carry-on items when you fly. Before we moved to Florida, we used to do the same thing and it was so convenient.

Here's what you'll want to do. Just ship the box to your Resort and include the words, "Hold for Guest" with the first and last name of the person whose name is the primary one on your reservation. You'll want to note your arrival date on the label as well. When you arrive to check in at your Resort hotel, simply let the Cast Member at the front desk know that you shipped yourself a package and they will take care of getting it to you. They'll typically ask if you'd like to come back down to pick it up or they'll have bell services bring it up to your room if you prefer. I would try to ship your box so that it arrives at your Resort hotel no more than 2 or 3 days before you do.

I hope that helps, Ashley! Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel and please feel free to stop back by if we can help with any additional questions you have!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
