Ahoy, Susan! Thanks for bringing your Disney Cruise Line question to us here at planDisney. I am sorry to hear that you are struggling to book your
Port Adventures, but let me give you some suggestions to get you back to smooth sailing.
You cannot start booking Port Adventures and other select Onboard Activities until both your cruise balance is paid in full and your
advance booking window opens. The exact date of your advance booking window is determined by your
Castaway Club membership level or status as a concierge guest. If you are a first-time guest, then the advance booking window opens 75 days prior to sail date, but the earliest advance booking window opens 130 days prior to sail date for concierge guests. Guests can begin booking activities at midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the date that their advance booking window opens.
To confirm when your advance booking window is scheduled to open, start by going to the main Disney Cruise Line
website and clicking on the tab at the top right labeled “Already Booked.” Click on the option labeled “My Reservations” under “My Disney Cruise” and you will be prompted to login to your account. Once you login, you should see a page with your upcoming cruise information and a drop-down box on the right hand side that lists your reservation number plus any other cruises that you have already booked. On the right hand side, there will be a box that says “Cruise Activities” under a photo. If your advance booking window is open, then there will be a blue button inside the box labeled “Book Now” that you can click on. However, if there is no blue button, then there should be a date listed inside the box telling you when you may begin booking activities.
If you are having trouble using the website, then you can also use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to confirm your advance booking window and reserve Port Adventures. Once you download the Navigator App, click on the “At Home” option and you will be prompted to login to your account. Your reservation page will then open and you can click on your upcoming cruise. If you scroll down, you will see a box labeled “My Plans” and if your booking window is open, then there will be a section under it labeled “Cruise Activities” with boxes under it for Port Adventures, Spa & Fitness, Premium Dining, Onboard Fun, and Nursery. If your booking window has not opened, then a date will be listed in the “My Plans” box and you will not see the other options.
I hope that you are able to determine what the problem may be based on all of that information. However, if you are still struggling, then I recommend reaching out to Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. Best of luck booking your Port Adventures and happy sailing!
