Ahoy there, Helen! It sounds like the cold doesn’t bother you anyway, so I’m delighted you sailed by planDisney ahead of your Norwegian Fjords cruise this September so we can put together your
packing list in advance.
If I understood Olaf correctly, you can expect to dress up on three of the
seven nights onboard the Disney Fantasy. It looks like you’ll be partying like a pirate on Night 4 after your day in Olden. Not only will you celebrate with a
Pirate Night Deck Party, but you and your crew will enjoy a themed menu and other buccaneer activities throughout the evening. My tip is to keep your camera ready because you’ll also come across Mickey, Minnie, and crew in their pirate garb, too!
Night 2 is when you’ll want to pull your finest sparkles and jewels from your suitcase because it’s Formal Night! Then on your final night at sea, dinner will feature a semi-formal theme. Either of these nights pose the perfect opportunity to snap some pictures with the professional photographers onboard. If you want to save money and make sure you don’t miss any photo ops, I suggest pre-purchasing the
Unlimited Digital Photo Package.
While entertainment and activities are subject to change, make sure to download the free
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before embarkation day so you have the most up-to-date schedules at the ready once you board the ship. You’ll also find all your theme nights and dining rotations in the app as well. You can even “heart” your favorite activities to receive a notification before they begin in case you get caught up in a poolside chat with one of your favorite Disney pals.
Of course, these are all just suggestions, so once they open up the gates, feel free to dress in whatever strikes your fancy each night. But should you desire any further insights, don’t hesitate to visit us here at
planDisney again!
Cheers!
