We will be leaving on a Sat and it will take us 16 hrs to drive down. We will arrive early Sun morn What time is standard check in? Will we be able to go straight to the room or is it upon availability?! Kids won't know where we are going until we arrive!

    Hi Teresa!!

Congratulations on your August Walt Disney World Vacation!!!

I love checking in as early as possible when we arrive in Orlando.  I have actually checked in as early as 8:00am to go ahead and receive our Key to the World Cards.  Our room was not ready at that time, but we have got into our room as early as 9:30am before.  Getting into your room is all based on availability and the room being cleaned and ready.

Regardless of if you get into your room or not, you can go ahead and start your day in the theme parks once you check in.   You can opt for either a text or phone call once your room is ready.  I can't wait for your kids to see the "Welcome to Walt Disney World" Gates as you enter the resort!!!

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!!

    Have a magical trip!!
