    We are leaving in one week for wdw we are staying at the carribean beach resort, can you tell us how long will it take the shuttle from the resort to drop us off at magic kingdom? We want to make it for the welcome show.

    Hi, Cindy!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my very favorite places to stay.  You are absolutely going to love it.  It takes a bus about 20-25 minutes to get from the resort to Magic Kingdom.  You will also need to factor in the time it takes to wait for the bus to get to your stop and getting through bag check once you arrive at the park.  If it were me, I would be on the first bus in the morning to get a good spot in line to watch the welcome show. Buses start running 1 hour before that particular park opens and that's the one I always try to be on.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
