Leaving for Kidani Village in two weeks. My understanding it’s fully equipped, does that include can openers, pots/pans? Also, how much is a 1/2 gal of milk at the hotel? Frozen waffles? Would I benefit to use garden grocer if I just need a few items?

    Hi Shanna,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You have so much to look forward to for your stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village! As a Disney Vacation Club Member, I have enjoyed my stays at the Resort and I am always left feeling a bit awestruck with the Resort and its beautiful surroundings and amenities. You don't mention the specific Resort accommodations you'll be enjoying, but I think you'll find you'll have what you need to feel at home. The 1-bedroom villa, for example, offers a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, glasses and utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and oven, toaster, and microwave. You can see a full list of common room amenities online. During most stays, we prepare breakfast in our Villa and pack our lunches. During some stays we have prepared full at-home meals. As for groceries, you can get an idea of the groceries and their prices by checking out the online order form. On most of our trips when we just need a few items like milk, juice, breakfast cereal, and bread and PB&J for sandwiches, we pick up what we need from Johari Treasures, the marketplace in the Resort main lobby.

Shanna, here's wishing you a magical stay.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
