Leaving the housework behind is one of the things that allows me to more fully enjoy family time while at Disney. We plan to eat breakfast in our room this trip during our stay at Boardwalk Villas. Will housekeeping do the dishes?

    Hi Candace,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I completely understand wanting to fully relax and unwind while you are at Walt Disney World.  Disney's BoardWalk Villas is a great place to do so!  I really love all of the fun you can have at Disney's BoardWalk, and I enjoy taking advantage all of the activities around Crescent Lake.

The answer to your question depends on how you booked your vacation.  If you booked your vacation using a traditional payment method such as cash or credit card through Disney, then your accommodation will include daily housekeeping.  Part of daily housekeeping is that the housekeeping cast member will put your dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher.  If you booked your vacation using Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points, your accommodation will not include daily housekeeping, and therefore you would need to take care of your own dishes.  I have good news for you though!  If you did book through Disney Vacation Club using Vacation Points and would like to add on daily housekeeping, you can pay to have this added.  Simply call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800, and the cast member there can help you to add housekeeping to your vacation.

I hope that this information is helpful to you, Candace!  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
