    We are leaving to go on the Disney Magic to the Bahamas, has anyone been there in January and if so we scheduled a snorkeling and water park at the Atlantis, how is the water in January, will it be too cold - any suggestions

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Eee! Your Disney Cruise to paradise is about to set sail! Before you know it, you'll see the pristine Disney Magic just waiting for your family to board as you approach Port Canaveral. I love seeing our Disney Cruise ship docked the morning of embarkation day!

    You've scheduled one of my favorite Port Adventures! Visiting Atlantis Paradise Island while your Disney Cruise is docked in Nassau will be so much fun! I've been to Atlantis Resort in January and remember the outside temperature being between the mid 60's to upper 70's. The water in the Atlantis Aquaventure water park is heated depending on what the outside temperature is each day! When we went during the month of January, the water was a perfect temperature. You and your family can look forward to splashing and swimming the day away!

    I have great news about the pools onboard each Disney Cruise ship, too! For the Guests' comfort, the pools on deck are heated to at least 75 degrees. For the family members in your pirate crew who are 48" tall or taller, I recommend taking a plunge on the AquaDunk!
