Leaving on Friday for our first time. Just wondering if the parks allowed outside food. Bring my 10 month old daughter and I wanted to have things for her to snack on. Thanks so much and love the panel.

    Hi Amanda!

How exciting that you are leaving in just three days!  First trips are extra magical.  Be sure to pick up some free "First Visit" pins at Guest Relations at whichever park you visit first.  You can absolutely bring outside food for your daughter and family into the parks.  (Please note, glass containers and alcohol cannot be carried into the parks.)  We usually bring in a soft, insulated bag with juice boxes, snacks and sandwiches for our kids.  This way if one kid gets hungry outside of our designated meal time, we don't have to scramble to find something for him to eat.

The quick service establishments (counter service), concession stands/carts and table service restaurants all have a wide variety of food ranging from traditional park fare (burgers, fries, soft pretzels and chicken nuggets) to healthy and more exotic options (grilled veggie and hummus sandwiches, for example).  I have been bringing my boys to Disney World since they were infants, and never had trouble finding them something they were happy eating.

Whether you chose to bring in your own food, buy food at the parks, or do a combination of both, have a wonderful vacation!
