Leaving for our first trip to Disney in 2 weeks:) We are doing the DDP (1 table, 1 quick, 1 snack/day) for 6 days. I know tip is not included but I have no idea how much to plan to spend on tips. Can you give me a broad range if we tip 15% -20%?

Hi, Shannon!   Assuming 2 adults and 2 kids, count on your table service meals to be between $80 - $120 (very ballpark figure!)   Averaging this to $100 per meal, times 6 table service meals at 18% tip, this would come out to roughly $108 for gratuities.     Obviously, no there is no tipping on snacks or counter service meals.

When your check comes at a table service restaurant, it has your remaining Dining Credits along with suggested gratuities which will help guide you with your tip.   If your party has 6 or more guests, an automatic gratuity of 18% will be added.

Hope this helps!   There is some great dining around WDW - Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
