We are leaving on our first Disney cruise on Dream in March! According to our itinerary the ship docks in Nassau at 9:30 am but our port adventure is scheduled at 9:15 am. How does that work?

Woohoo, Traci!   I'm so excited to hear that you and your family are off to sail the high seas on the Disney Dream for the first time!   You will have loads and loads of fun.  It sounds like you're already well prepared and have already booked your Port Adventures too.

The All Ashore time at Nassau is usually scheduled for 9:30 am.  If you signed up for a Port Adventure, you will be instructed to go to the onboard meeting location at a specified time (it could be at one of the Theaters or Lounges or Restaurants).  If your Port Adventure call time is 9:15 am, then you will need to assemble at your meeting location at that time (or a few minutes earlier).  You and your group will be prepped for on time debarkation at Nassau to start enjoying your Port Adventure with no time wasted.  These are well organized activities by Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventure team, and they pay very close attention to effectively getting their guests to and from the ship, to their scheduled activity for the day.  You and your family will usually be assigned a group number (or sometimes a character), so make sure you pay close attention and follow the right group.  You will be walking from the meeting location to the gangway to exit, and then off to transportation (usually a bus or motor coach).  The All Aboard time will also be announced that morning, to make sure that all guests take the appropriate time to enjoy the different activities while at the Port.

Have an awesome time making memorable magical moments with your loved ones, on your first Disney Cruise!

Captain Mickey and his gang are looking forward to sailing with you!

    Bon Voyage!
