Hi Candice!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your WONDERful Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the corner and I know you must be eagerly counting down the days until you head to sea for an adventure you won’t forget! If you haven’t yet finalized all your plans and have some bigger Mouseketeers traveling with you, I highly recommend the
Dolphin Encounter; my boys just LOVED it!
Traveling with tiny Mouseketeers is so much fun but inevitably it does require a lot more thinking and definitely more gear! We began cruising with our boys when they were itty bitty, so I have been in your shoes before…in fact, I specifically remember one voyage where we had an entire suitcase (large size) completely filled only diapers and wipes! Thankfully we had plenty of room for souvenirs at the end of that week, but goodness…the planning ahead that goes into traveling with littles is a lot! I checked with Disney Cruise Line and they said that it is advised that you keep the formula in its original, unopened container. They also recommended that you keep it in your carry-on luggage, but I will say that I am certain we packed unopened formula in a checked suitcase with no issues. But, as you would medication, if it’s a necessity, I think I would recommend carrying it on!
Another recommendation – use the
nursery for naptime! And while baby is napping, explore the onboard adult-exclusive spaces, my favorite being the Quiet Cove pool! The nursery is staffed with wonderful nannies and you’ll only be a call away if you are needed!
Have the most magical and memorable adventure! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
