Hello! We are leaving for our first cruise in Sept on board the Disney Dream. We are excited about the experiences but do not see where there are quick eating choices like the buffets we have often heard about on cruises. Can you help?

    Hi, Shawna!

Congratulations on your first cruise this fall aboard the Disney Dream -- she is a stylish and oh-so spectacular ship!  I can't wait for your first cruise vacation to be with Disney Cruise Line.  I wish I could see your face!

Dining choices are available throughout your cruise and throughout the ship.  Located on Deck 11 Aft, Cabanas serves breakfast and lunch buffet-style and a sit-down dinner from a menu. There are quick-service counters also on Deck 11 near the pools which serve everything from hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, wrap sandwiches, ice cream, salads, bakery items, whole fruit and more. In addition, there's a 24-hour beverage station located near the pools, too.

At dinner each evening, you will be given an assigned seating (either main or second) and a particular restaurant for each night -- Artist's Palate, Royal Palace or Enchanted Garden.  Or, the adults in your traveling party can make a reservation for Palo or Remy for an extra-special culinary experience.

Depending on your itinerary, there are usually special buffets offered at various times, too. I hope this helps you plan. Believe me, you will be well fed! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
