Leaving for DW in two weeks for 5 days. As I read through all the Q&A, I am getting a bit nervous. We are not the "organize everything ahead" type of people. Do you think it will make our trip less enjoyable or less "worth-it"?

    Hi Sylvie,
No worries!  You are going at a time that will have much lower crowds compared to other times of the year.    This will allow a bit more flexibility for your vacation.

That said, even during less crowded times, restaurants can fill up quickly if you do not have advance dining reservations.  So if you are planning to have a lot of sit down meals, I would recommend making at least one or two dining reservations to guarantee a table for you and your family.  Otherwise, go directly to the restaurant podiums try to get a table.  Arrange your meal times so you are not during peak dining hours (have lunch at 11 a.m. or an early dinner at 4 p.m.) and this will improve your chances of a sit-down.

Although you don't want to plan ahead, make sure you have the basics covered before you leave for your magical vacation:  hotel reservations, transportation, and your park tickets.

    Have a carefree vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
