we are leaving for Disney world may 17th, and I have not told my daughters yet that this is where we are going, I want a fun way to tell them when we are on the way there, any ideas? they are 9 and 13

Hello, Jessica!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Oh, your girls are going to be thrilled the moment they realize that Walt Disney World is to be their destination! There are so many fun ways to let them know, so let's get started.

    • Place tiaras on their beds with a note suggesting they visit a beautiful castle in Florida.
    • Find a stuffed Mickey Mouse holding an invitation inviting them to Walt Disney World.
    • Leave little clues throughout the week, prior to your departure, that represent Disney.
    • Buy Disney coloring books and leave them all around the house.
    • Keep using the phrase "How Magical" for everything!  You will have some confused looks!
    • A scavenger hunt around your home.
    • Read a different Disney story every night. I am sure your 13 year old will suspect something.
    • Send them an invitation in the mail.
    • Write "You are Going to Walt Disney World" on the computer screen.
    • Place a Mickey in their backpack or lunchbox.
    • Go out to your favorite restaurant and have your server deliver the wonderful news!
I hope these help.  Just have your camera ready when you tell them.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
