    Leaving for Disney in 18 days 1st trip for all except me. Currently booked at the Contemporary Garden Wing. Thinking about upgrading to either Contem. Tower room, or WL Club Level. Family of 4 DD 2 DS 4. DH and I celebrating 7th anniversary. Thanks!

    Hi Mariann!  The Contemporary Garden rooms are very quiet and almost like you are not at the same resort as the rest of the Contemporary guests.  They are large rooms and if you are lucky to overlook the water you can relax and enjoy watching the boats go to and from through-out the day.  The drawback to these rooms is that you are not as close to dining and transportation.

    I love the tower rooms at the Contemporary. They are very large and they will either overlook Bay Lake or the Seven Seas Lagoon. Either view is spectacular! The Wilderness Lodge is indeed a favorite resort for many families as carries a laid back atmosphere as if you were actually in a national park.  The concierge club lever is a great place to grab breakfast or a quick snack throughout the day.

    Both resorts will have comparable amenities. Both have pools with slides and marinas with a full array of boats to enjoy and rent.  You can charter a fishing guide from each location or reserve a fireworks cruise.  If you feel energetic you can walk to Fort Wilderness from the Wilderness Lodge where you might enjoy a stroll through the Disney stables or dine at HoopDeDoo Revue or Mickey's Backyard Barbecue.

    One of the hardest parts of planning a Disney vacation is choosing a resort for your family. Disney offers so many great choices and it becomes more of a personal thing for each family. What is important for you might differ with someone else. If you are looking for a great view choose the Contemporary tower room. If you are looking for a pampered relaxed stay then choose the Wilderness Lodge club level room. If you want to get away from it all select the Contemporary Garden Wing location.  I can't say one is better then the other but instead that they will all offer a different vacation experience!
