    If leaving on the Disney Cruise out of San Diego, Diego, what would be the best and the closest hotel from the

    Hi, Debbie!

    Sailing out of San Diego is going to be amazing! I am sure the weather will be picture perfect as you set sail out of southern California. October is one of my favorite months to cruise with warm days at the pool and cool evenings up on deck.

    A great option for your hotel pre- or post-cruise will be the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. It is located on the San Diego Bay in Seaport Village. This hotel is located about 3 miles from the San Diego International Airport (SAN) and just about a mile to the cruise terminal so you will find the location to be very convenient. If you plan to fly home on debarkation day, Disney Cruise Line recommends flights after 12:15pm. 

    If you enjoy your cruise as much as I think you will, you might want to book a Placeholder Reservation for a future cruise while onboard on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. With a refundable $250 deposit, you will receive a discount on a future cruise of 10% or more. Your future sailing must take place within 24 months. If not booked, your deposit will be refunded. (Please note blockout dates and bookings are based on availability).
