Leaving in 23 days and trying to budget, how much is the photo package at Chef Mickey's? Thanks!

    Hi Jackie,

I must admit that I usually do not purchase the separate photo packages as I take so many pictures myself of all these different character interactions (dining or otherwise) that I would rather spend that photo package money on a souvenir for my daughter and then print out the pictures that I have taken when we get home.  I do however feel that the PhotoPass CD you can purchase is a wonderful value as it can be loaded with hundreds of pictures taken at Walt Disney World for one fixed price and once you have the CD, you will also be allowed (have the rights) to print them yourself once you get home.  There are certain locations where the pictures taken by PhotoPass Photographers will not be able to be added to your CD unless you purchase the picture/package separately and use a code located on the back of the photo...Chef Mickey's is one of these locations, but in general, most of the pictures that are taken at WDW can be added for the one time paid price for this CD (approx. $124.95 or cheaper if you pre-purchase).

With all of this said, I do pay attention to all of these offers that come our way and I believe the last time I dined at Chef Mickey's the cost for the basic photo package was approximately $30.00 and up (the price increased for the different level of packages that were available, but this was the general starting price point).  It is a lovely package that will hold many memories.  They will come to your table while dining and show you the pictures as well as describe the different packages available and cost, if you like them, you buy them and if you don't, then not to worry.....just say no and they are totally fine with that.  Have a great time when you dine at Chef Mickey's...this is one of my favorite character dining experiences at Walt Disney World!

    Best wishes,
