    Leaving in 56 days for our 1st trip! Love this panel!!! Do we need to be prepared for rain around the holidays? I've read a lot about the rainy summers but don't know what is is like in Florida at Christmastime.

    Hi, Beth!   While the rain is more common in the summer, you can still get rain anytime of the year in Central Florida.   I always plan for the worst then I can happily say "I carried around these rain ponchos for nothing!" 

    Also remember that it can get quite chilly, especially in the evenings.   I am also from Ohio, so I usually have my family wear their Fall (medium weight) jackets on the airplane.  This way, we don't freeze here at home, and we have a decent jacket if needed when visiting the parks in the evenings.  I have everyone put a pair of gloves in their pockets, just in case!  

    We are traveling in late November, and here is what I'll have packed with me:
    -Medium weight jackets (with hoods if possible) and gloves
    -Rain ponchos (available at your local discount store) and an umbrella
    -Sweatshirts
    -And, we are still from Ohio, so SWIMSUITS!  If it is over 60 degrees and the sun is shining, I guarantee my kids will want to hop into one of the heated pools!
