Leaving in 2 days for a 10 night stay!!!! We will finally have time for the kids to really explore Tom Sawyers island this trip... Is there a concession stand or vending or anything on the island or should we pack some drinks in a backpack? Thanks!!

    Hi Carey,

Wow! You'll be leaving for your trip in just a few short hours! I hope you have an absolutely incredible time with your family. Tom Sawyer Island is a lot of fun. My kids really enjoy exploring the caves, forts and hideaways. You will have an opportunity to relax in rocking chairs located sporadically throughout the island as well.

Years ago there was a quick service restaurant located on Tom Sawyer Island that was named Aunt Polly's. Unfortunately, that has closed. There are two vending machines with Coke products and water. Given that you want to spend a bit of time exploring and the kids will likely get thirsty with all that running around, I would hate to tell you they have it available and then have it happen to be out of product when you arrive. To avoid this situation, I recommend that you grab some bottles of water from the food cart located close to the line to board the rafts.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation,
