I saw MagicBand2 available for purchase at most merchandise locations in late January 2023 as well as customizable options at
D-Tech on Demand at the Marketplace Co-Op in
Disney Springs. If you want to order a MagicBand2 with rush delivery before your trip there is a limited selection at
shopDisney. Not every merchandise location carries the same inventory and inventory is subject to change.
A thought to consider. I understand you want MagicBand2 for your younger children but one great advantage of
MagicBand+ is that the battery is rechargeable so you will be able to use it much longer than allowed by the average 2-year battery lifespan of a MagicBand2.
planDisney Pro Tip: I have had more than one occasion where a MagicBand has come loose and almost lost. If you do an online search for "BitBelt" you will see a simple rubber rectangular ring (similar to one on a regular watch) to help lock the MagicBand so it does not get loose.
