Leaving in 14 days, and it will be only 8 days post back surgery for my husband. I already have letter from Dr. about limitations on stairs and wheelchair use, my question is do we have to register for GAC at each park/day or can we get one for whole stay

Your Guest Assistance Card will cover your entire stay, Alisa.  When you speak to the Cast Member about your husband's limitations, he or she will ask about the number of people in your party and your travel dates.  He or she will then fill out the Guest Assistance Card accordingly and you will not be required to return to Guest Services in each park.  We have used Guest Assistance Cards for my daughter in the past, and I always made sure to keep it in a safe place with our park admission tickets so that we'd have use of it for the duration of our stay.  I hope that helps.  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
