Hi! We are leaving in a couple days for Disney World, and we can't wait! We have 2 and 3 year old boys, and I was wondering if it is better to bring two inexpensive umbrella strollers, or if we should rent a double-stroller. Thanks so much :)

    Hi Eric!

Thanks for the question. Having taken both my children to Disney World at pre-school age, I understand the question. At the end of the day, I think it comes down to money vs. convenience. If you're looking to save a few bucks, bring the small, quick foldable umbrella strollers. But if convenience is of interest, the double-strollers save the day! :-) My family has tried various strollers in the past, and since I'm generally the one stuck carrying, breaking down the strollers, I can tell you after the 3rd or 4th park departure, breaking down and holding those things got very annoying!  :-)

The double-stroller rentals really worked for us because they were wide enough for both of my children to fit inside comfortably, we could move around transportation without that extra "baggage," and the multi-pass tickets were great for frequent trips to the parks (can even use while at Downtown Disney). So, we've done the rental on our last couple trips. But it doesn't come cheap, at $27 per day for the multi-day pass, it does cost (ouch!)...

So, whichever side of the see-saw you're leaning (cost or convenience), you'll find pro's and con's to each.

    Good Luck!
