Ahoy Tanya,
Thank you so much for coming to planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line question. Your sailing sounds wonderful. My family enjoys the
Disney Fantasy. We love the longer sailings that this ship does to warm Caribbean and Bahamian ports of call. And getting to stop at
Castaway Cay is always a delight!
I
called Disney Cruise Line to ask about the theme nights that you can expect while on your six-day sailing. While there is not a specific formal and semi-formal night assigned, there are two nights that are listed as "optional dress-up nights." I imagine that guests will interpret these widely and that you would fit in perfectly in
formal or semi-formal attire. Of course, these nights are optional, so you can remain cruise casual if you would like!
There is also a
Pirate Night scheduled on your cruise. While again, dressing up is optional, I enjoy being a part of the festivities by braiding my hair, throwing on a bandana, and wearing my favorite pirate skirt! Be sure to take in the Pirates in the Caribbean show, followed by the fantastic fireworks at sea.
As all entertainment on a Disney cruise is subject to change, I do suggest that you check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App frequently when you are onboard. This will have the most up-to-date information on the schedule for your cruise.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Tanya! Please feel free to sail back to planDisney if you have any further cruise planning questions!
