If I leave the parking structure in the afternoon for naptime- do I need to repay for parking upon reentering later on in the evening?

Hi there, Holly! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love helping out my fellow Californians as they plan their visits to the Happiest Place on Earth!

I love that you’re close enough to the Disneyland Resort that you can head home for naptime, and then come back later in the evening for even more Disney magic! Well, I have good news for you – yes, you may re-enter the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure or Toy Story Parking Area, as long as you have your parking receipt and ticket with you. Of course, parking is based on availability.

There are so many exciting things to see and do at the Disneyland Resort right now! Have you checked out Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Hollywood Land yet? I just saw it last week with a friend, and we both loved it! You and your little one are in for a real musical treat! This summer brings even more exciting new additions to Disney California Adventure Park, including the opening of the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, coming soon to Pixar Pier. I’ve peeked at it under construction while soaring through the air on the Incredicoaster, and it looks so cute! And last, but certainly not least, I can’t wait to check out the all-new outdoor musical production, “Tale of the Lion King,” coming to the Palisades Stage starting June 7, 2019!

Wishing you and your little Mouseketeer many magical moments at the Disneyland Resort!

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
