Hi Catherine,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question about leaving and returning on the same day to the
Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort.
I am happy to inform you that not only is this allowed, but I also use this as a good strategy to get the most out of my Disney day! Personally, I find it a great idea to take an afternoon break back at my
Disney Resort hotel and then head back to the theme park later to enjoy that park's evening festivities. My family likes to call it "feet off the floor time". Whether we are floating in a pool, taking a nap, or just relaxing in general, we find this built-in resting time is essential for our vacation. I find taking an afternoon break is especially important for my family on days we take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry in order to keep our energy levels balanced.
Catherine, the only time in which you may not be able to re-enter a theme park is if it reaches capacity as can often happen during extremely popular times such as Christmas Day. So, unless you will be visiting during a time such as this you should be just fine to leave the theme park and return later.
In order to visit a Walt Disney World theme park, you must first purchase
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets and then make
Disney Theme Park Reservations. If you already know what dates you would like to visit, I recommend looking at this
Disney Theme Park Reservations Availability Calendar to make sure the days that you want to visit the theme parks are available. My advice is to make your reservations as soon as possible after you have decided upon your vacation dates in order to secure your plans.
I hope this information helps you with your upcoming vacation plans. Please come back and visit us again here at
planDisney with all of your vacation planning questions!
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
