Hi Christine!
A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for visiting us with your great question about Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
Christine, the answer to your question is yes! As long as you have a valid theme park admission ticket or annual pass and a
Disney Park Pass theme park reservation for the same park on the same date, you will be able to exit and re-enter the theme park throughout the day.
In fact, I do this often! When staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, we love to take a mid-day break by going back to our Guest Room and having lunch or a quick swim. This is especially helpful when traveling with young Mouseketeers!
However, as part of our effort to maintain the health and safety of our Cast Members and Guests, you will need to go through temperature screening areas and security every time you wish to re-enter the theme park.
Speaking of health and safety, I encourage you to
check out the experience updates page and learn more about the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort. This page offers a wealth of information on the
Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system, face coverings, and physical distancing protocols.
Christina, if you have any additional questions, please visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!
