Hey Madilyn,
A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your great question about
Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
Madilyn, yes, you can leave a Walt Disney World Resort theme park and re-enter the same theme park at a later time. In fact, my family does this often while staying in
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. We love taking mid-day lunch or swim breaks and then returning to the theme parks at a later time.
As a reminder, you must have a
Disney Park Pass theme park reservation and a
valid theme park admission ticket to enter the theme parks during the
phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort. However, you do not need an additional reservation to re-enter the theme park if you leave at any point throughout the day.
Please keep in mind that you will need to go through the temperature screening and security screening procedures when you re-enter the theme park.
Speaking of temperature screenings,
please visit the experience updates page to learn more about the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort. This page is a great source of information on theme park reservations, contactless payment options, physical distancing protocols, and face coverings.
If you have any additional questions, please visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!
Wishing you a Magical Vacation,
Priscila
