Can we leave the park to go to Downtown Disney for lunch and come back again later in the day?

    Hey Yohanna!

    Welcome to planDisney!

The weather is warming up here in Southern California which makes it a perfect time to plan a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! You’re going to love all of the new additions to both of the theme parks. Snow White’s Enchanted Wish is now open inside Disneyland Park along with new treats and snacks throughout the park. In a little over a week, Avengers Campus inside Disney California Adventure Park will open to guests for a thrilling adventure. It’s such an amazing time to visit the parks!

The Downtown Disney District boasts some of the best food on property. You’ll be happy to hear that you are able to leave Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park for lunch at one of the restaurants at the Downtown Disney District and then back into the theme parks once you're finished. If you’re looking for some recommendations, my two favorites are Ballast Point Brewing Co and Napolini Pizzeria. Ballast Point Brewing Co is more of a sit down meal where you can relax and enjoy some really good food. If you’re looking for something a little bit faster so you can head back to your favorite attractions, Napolini Pizzeria is your choice.

Well Yohanna, make sure you leave some room for some treats from the theme parks and if you need some suggestions just come back and let us know!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
