If we leave the park for a break during the day, will we have to pay for parking again when we come back? Also is their a maximum amount of time we can be out? Thank you!

    Hi, Claudia!

I am a big fan of taking mid-day breaks when visiting the Disneyland Resort parks. It is so nice to take a nap or even just lay by the pool for a few hours. It is amazing how that little break can get the family refreshed for an evening of nighttime magic and fireworks!

You will be happy to know that you only need to pay for parking one time a day. When you enter the parking are and pay the parking fee, you will receive a ticket as proof of payment. If you leave and return later in the day, simply present that ticket to re-enter without having to pay again. Your parking fee is valid for the entire day, so no worries about the length of your mid-day break. If you are a person who likes to plan ahead, you can even purchase Parking Vouchers online ahead of time. Boy, Mickey Mouse sure thinks of everything to make our vacations easy!

Wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
