Can you leave the park and come back on the same day with a basic pass? I saw the answer to this question but it was in 2011. Has it changed?

    Hi Cathie!

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you must be busy putting the finishing touches on your vacation plans. I'm sure you are so excited knowing you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in a few short days! Yippee!!

I have great news for you! You absolutely can leave and return to the same theme park on the same day with the One Park Per Day Ticket. You will love the flexibility this will give you! We typically do this when my family visits Walt Disney World Resort. Each morning, our goal is to arrive at the theme park when it opens. We spend a few hours there and then return to our Resort Hotel to swim, relax and/or sometimes enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants located in the Resort Hotels, Disney Springs or Disney's BoardWalk. We then return to the same theme park in late afternoon or early evening refreshed and ready to enjoy the evening!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your vacation. You will be at Walt Disney World Resort soon! Enjoy every magical moment!
