If we leave the magic kingdom to go to lunch at the contemporary on the monorail can we then return to magic kingdom?

    Hey, Debra!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Are you possibly having lunch at the Contempo Cafe? The Wave... of American Flavors? California Grill? Maybe with Mickey and the gang at Chef Mickey's? Disney's Contemporary Resort is one Resort Monorail stop away from Magic Kingdom Park and one of the coolest hotels at Walt DIsney World Resort.

Yes, your Magic Your Way (theme park admission) ticket allows you to enter and exit one theme park per day as many times as you need during normal operating hours. With a Park Hopper Option added to your ticket you may enter and exit all four theme parks as needed. Enjoy your lunch at Disney's Contemporary Resort without worrying about paying for another entry in to Magic Kingdom Park.

Disney Dad Tip: There is a 10 minute walking path between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Contemporary Resort. We typically use this path because we go at our own speed and don't have to wait for the Resort Monorail. Just ask a Cast Member to show you the path and you'll be on your way. On your way back I would use the walking path unless the weather is bad or you decline for personal reason because the Resort Monorail will be a longer trip than the walk.

Please stop by with any additional questions to help plan your special Disney vacation.

Debra, enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
