If we leave Magic Kingdom for a break, are we able to re-enter for our reservation at Beauty and the Beast restaurant? We have a reservation on an evening that there are EMH and I'm concerned the park will be filled to capacity when we try to re-enter.

    Hi Alicia,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

I usually recommend that people visit the Theme Parks once they open in the morning in order to take advantage of lower crowd levels, head back to their Disney Resort Hotel for a swim or to relax during the peak heat of the afternoon and then head back to the Parks for dinner and fireworks.

You can absolutely visit Magic Kingdom Park in the morning, leave, and then head back later that evening for your dinner reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Unless you’re visiting during an unusually busy time of year (such as the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day), you’re unlikely to be unable to re-enter the park for your dining reservation. So don’t worry about the impact that Extra Magic Hours may have on crowd levels and feel free to leave the Park for a few hours and come back later. And you should definitely try to make time for seeing my absolute favourite fireworks show, Happily Ever After, if it’s being presented that night!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
