Hello Anna,
I've been taking my little ones to Walt Disney World Resort since they were only a few months old, so I'm probably not going to be too helpful on the cons. What I can offer is why we've loved visiting with even the smallest Disney Guests and how easy Disney makes it.
There is a wealth of
planning information for visiting with little ones. There are so many experiences and attractions you can enjoy all together or convenient services, like
Rider Switch, for those he's still too little for. There are also
Baby Care Centers in each of the four theme parks that offer the perfect surrounding to feed, change and care for the little one. One of the biggest reasons I hear not to bring tiny tots is that they won't remember it anyway. This is totally true of course, but we remember. As parents, or as an aunt, it's awesome to have the incredible memories of their first few visits. I can recall first haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop or their first pair of ears, first twirl on Dumbo the Flying Elephant or giggles on "it's a small world." I remember the first time their face lit up greeting their favorite Disney pal and those stories continue to be favorites to share with them now, especially as we count down to our next trip. With the help of
Disney's PhotoPass Service these are magical moments we will never forget.
Like I said, I'm not much help on why not to bring the little guy, but in my experience, the vacations are always more magical when everyone is together.
Happy planning,
Lauren
