We leave at 6p on a Fri and have res. at Kona for bkfst....what would you suggest we do on our last day?? Traveling with 6 & 10 y/o girls. Thank you soo much......

    Hi Jerilyn,

You're very welcome and it's our pleasure to help guests plan their Walt Disney World vacations. The last day is always so bittersweet, isn't it? You have one final day to soak up the magic but are sad to say goodbye! If you have remaining Park tickets and because you have almost an entire day before departing, I think there's no better place to spend those hours than Magic Kingdom. From Kona Cafe, simply hop on the monorail to arrive at Magic Kingdom in no time. My family loves to begin and end our vacations with a trip to Cinderella Castle. From favorite attractions to Dole Whips to Mickey Ice Cream, I try to pack every ounce of Pixie Dust into our departure day! If you are not planning to visit a Theme Park, another great suggestion is to visit a Water Park. Have yourselves packed up the evening before and hit Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach after your Kona Cafe breakfast. You'll forget all about having to depart Walt Disney World Resort as you scream down Crush 'N' Gusher! Just be sure to have a change of clothes easily accessible and ziploc bags to store wet suits. Also note that additional admission to the Water Parks will be required.

If you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, consider spending the day at your Disney Resort hotel pool. This might be a wise option if your flight is at 6pm and you are utilizing Disney's Magical Express. The bus will typically pick you up at 3pm for a 6pm domestic flight.

I hope I've offered up some fun suggestions, Jerilyn, and it sounds like you have a wonderfully magical vacation planned for your princesses.

Best wishes and thank you for visiting us!
